These two delightful beauties - about six months old - are abyssinians. This is a breed that is sometimes believed to have originated from one Egyptian female kitten named Zula, who was taken from a port in Alexandria by a British soldier and brought to England in 1868. Most likely this is only a myth and far from the truth.
Regardless, the abyssians are pretty cats with slender legs and eyes that are almond shaped and colors that include gold, green, hazel or copper. They often have a m-shaped marking on the forehead. They are medium sized.
